I have a Florida CDL (commercial driver license) and got a ticket driving my privately owned vehicle. Will my CDL be affected?

A CDO can absolutely be effected even if the commercial driver is driving a personal vehicle. Now depending on what the charge is, it may have some bearing on the severity, depending on whether they are in a commercial vehicle or whether they are in a personal vehicle. With that said, a commercial driver holds that license regardless of what type of vehicle they are driving and as a result, it can directly impact the status of their license, regardless of which vehicle they are driving.
